Simply Great Fun!

Is there seriously anybody out there who does not know or is at least familiar with Elvira? Well I am sure there is but it's their loss. Simply put, this is a cult film with all of the pitfalls that a film such as this invites - plenty of laugh out loud bits and plenty of mediocre stuff as well. There is a bit of a story included regarding Elvira's inheritance culminating in a colourful fun battle with her evil cousin but these are superfluous. You only ever watch this film to see Elvira looking super hot and having fun and Cassandra Peterson plays her to the limit. Great fun, a product of its time and well worth the watch - recommended.

Hilarious

The film was a blind buy as part of the Arrow sale and I absolutely loved it, as far as the product goes It would be nice if it could be made clearer there would be no slipcover/booklet.

Elvira in HighDef

Just watched the New Arrow High Def version of Elvira Mistress of the dark...and it looks excellent, sound was crystal clear, and overall the film looks great. Still hold up after all these years, still funny, and the documentary in the extras is a must watch clocking in at 1hr 37mins its self. Overall highly recommended.
