Steve Coogan's legendary chat show host and broadcaster finally receives the big screen treatment in this comedy directed by Declan Lowney. Occupying a career stasis-defining role as a mid-morning DJ on North Norfolk Digital Radio, Alan Partridge (Coogan)'s hopes for one last shot at the big time suffer a severe setback when it emerges that his employers have been taken over by a giant media conglomerate.

Not a new film, but at this price...for a steelbook, was a must have purchase...good picture and sound. Average delivery time, wich I don't mind...people have been spoiled with other online retailers with, same day and next day delivery.

Wonderful Stuff
...not my words, Michael - the words of Shakin’ Stevens. This isn’t Schindler’s List, Jaws or The Shawshank Redemption. What it *is* is a fun way to spend a couple of hours more with Norfolk’s favourite chatty man. Kiss my face.

Pure Partridge. Alan at his most bombastic. I was really looking forward to seeing Lynn and Michael back at Alan's side. Steve Coogan was at his best. I have to admit there were times I almost fell off my chair. Comedy gold.

Excellent service, great film :-)
As always, Zavvi provides excellent service with their steelbooks, and what makes it better, is that the content is extremely satisfying. I laughed many times through Alpha Papa and was really happy with the transfer from the small screen to the silver screen, as well as the brilliant blu ray quality. Highly satisfied :-)
